My saved tracks are mostly basically gone, all that remains is a start and end point linked by a short straight line

I spent weeks scouting tracks and saving them in the app, only to find them changed from what I saved. It’s like the tracks are gone and replaced with a straight line linking the start and end. This is devastating to me. Can they be recovered somehow?

Hi Julius, sorry to hear about this terrible experience.

There is a good chance your original data has been backed up to your online account. Go to our website, sign in to your account and have a look.

    Hi Li,

I've logged in on your website and the routes/tracks are still displaying incorrectly, showing only a short straight line between the start and end points instead of the route I actually mapped.

In addition to this, it seems like the HUNDREDS pf dropped pins detailing specific track conditions that I have spent the past year compiling, have also disappeared.

I purchased your previous app for the full price, then when you released the new version shortly after, I purchased it AGAIN with no discount. I'm very disappointed to have lost all this data and will we devastated if it cannot be recovered.

Please let me know what we can do to find it again.

Hi Julius, the final option is to recover from an iTunes backup.

You say the data is gone, but I can still see my dropped pins on an old device with mudmaps installed?

If that's the case, delete all your data from your online account. Then back it up from the app on your old device.

Lets take Pins for example, go to your pins online --> use the check box to select the ones you want to delete --> Options --> Delete --> Confirm.

Then in the app, go to the pins screen and your data should resync.
