Imprecise vehicle location on directional arrow?

The exact vehicle location as depicted by the directional arrow makes for difficult navigation when multiple turns are possible in close proximity. It would make navigation much easier if the vehicle location was moved from center to the leading point of the arrow.

E.g. The following three photos were all taken at the same location and at the same point in time.

i) Photo 1 shows the vehicle parked opposite a Tee intersection
ii) Photo 2 shows the in car screen with Hema Map displayed. Note that the point of the arrow coincides with the vehicle's position
iii) Photo 3 shows the iPad screen with the Mud Map displayed.

As you can see in photo 2 the Hema Maps provides a clearer and more logical representation of the vehicle's location parked at the intersection compared to the Mud Maps display.

Is there any way that I can customize the directional icon on Mud Maps so that the leading point of the arrow shows the current position of the vehicle? Or, could this be made an editable user option in future software revisions?
